On the Lebanese level, Salah Mattar\u00a0has sought since the seventies for the modernization of the State, its total\u00a0reform and democratic change and the rule of law.
He is a courageous defendant of the\u00a0development and improvement of the Lebanese People, and in general, of the Human\u00a0Rights and Liberties.
He insists that there should be no\u00a0contradiction between Arabism & Lebanesism, the latter including the\u00a0characteristics of Lebanon and its Arabic and Humanitarian missions, the former\u00a0being the utmost cooperation between Lebanon and the Arab States.<\/p>
